Two Little Words That Can Add to Your Happiness- AND Your Bottom Line.

I was eighteen years old when my mother handed me this very small, green hardcover book. It was called, “The I AM Discourses.” I had no idea what I held in my hand. How I managed through ALL the changes and moves in my life, (I’m over 50,) to still have this book in my possession is nothing less than a miracle. It somehow stuck to me.

I have picked it up many times. I read from it a lot over the years because no matter when or where I opened it, there seemed to be just the right, perfect nugget of truth for me to chew on. It held great esoteric teachings for creating a greater life by watching our thoughts, our words and specifically the words “I Am.” Every time I picked it up and started applying the teachings I could actually watch great things start happening!

We use one form or another of “I am” all the time.

We are constantly seeing the world through our viewpoint of “me.”   We are constantly identifying ourselves with some form of experience, people, or situations. The words “I am” are identifiers, really. Every time we use these words, we are declaring what we are. It’s like we are saying to the great Universe of cause and effect…  “I am _______,” you fill in the blank! Unfortunately, there are way too many times that we are claiming an identify with some sort of problem or less than joyful emotional state.

How and what we identify ourselves with is what we experience in our lives.

Everyone by now is realizing the power of the subconscious mind to create the perceptions of what we believe, therefore, creating the experience. Identifying with states that we don’t want to keep attracting, such as “I am sick,” “I am tired,” “I am alone,” “I am struggling to pay the bills,” is keeping those states stuck to us!

Now, let’s add the esoteric teachings from the Discourse:

I Am is the western version of Om. I Am holds great spiritual power because it is also the words that mean, “I Am one with the Divine.” It is describing our spiritual identity. When we use these words, we are, whether we know it or not, using them with the whole power of the Universe behind them and specifically giving orders to the universe as to what to create.  We are invited to wake up and see what’s happening.

Is it possible that the Divine Creator would plant ourselves here and not provide a way for us to expand, grow and experience greater freedom, joy, and prosperity?

Is it possible that It has been under our nose all along, just like the water that the fish swims in?

I AM. This Word is a powerful KEY to your personal abundance and every good thing.

“When you say and feel I AM you release the spring of Eternal, Everlasting Life, to flow on Its way unmolested. In other words, you open wide the door to Its natural flow. When you say I AM not you shut the door in the face of this Mighty Energy.

If one is experiencing a lack of money; rather than “I am broke,” or “I don’t have,” why not say, “There’s a little cash flow issue right this minute but the money is on its way! I am richly prospered!” We want to train ourselves with an identity that is more abundant and richly supplied.

Recently, I decided to try an experiment. When attending the recent Superbowl game party I wanted to play the pool and put in a couple of bets. Right then I decided to declare with a lot of intention, “I AM a winner.” I kept silently repeating it during the game. There was nothing else I could do. I pretty much forgot about it after a while until at the very end, when the game was won in the last couple of seconds and the winner changed to me! It was a little wink-wink moment from the Universe to me as if to say, “Stick with it, girl! You know this stuff works!”

Yes, I’ve seen it work so many times, when I remember to live with my positive I AMs, claiming that which I CHOOSE to identify with.

It can help your bottom line! Start watching your words and thoughts now, and claim, “I Am a winner!”
